Beirut: Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil announced today via his platform "X" account that he has submitted the "black file" on the telecommunications case to the parliamentary investigation committee. This file, which he had previously presented to judicial authorities in 2009, had not prompted any action despite multiple follow-up requests.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the file details violations and wasteful expenditures exceeding one billion dollars, backed by evidence and official documents. Bassil expressed hope that the parliamentary committee would exercise its authority and act as agreed upon in the General Assembly.
