Muscat: The National Museum's Board of Trustees today convened for its 12th meeting under the leadership of Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the National Museum. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on the approval of the Museum's annual report for 2024 and the formulation of its annual plan for 2025. Key discussions included work plans and programs that pertain to cultural diplomacy and international cooperation, highlighting the Museum's commitment to fostering global cultural relations. Additionally, the Board addressed the retrieval of several artefacts and archaeological items. This initiative is in collaboration with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, aiming to enhance the Museum's collection and preserve cultural heritage.
