Kuwait city: Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, received Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, at Bayan Palace today. The visit is part of the 10th round of the Oman-Kuwait Joint Committee, aimed at enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations across political, economic, and cultural domains. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting also addressed a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest. Both parties emphasized the importance of supporting international efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. They highlighted the critical need to de-escalate tensions in the region and promote peaceful political solutions, aiming to restore stability and peace. The discussions were attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of GCC and Regional Neighbourliness Department, Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait, along with other officials from both countries.
