London: The United Kingdom announced a £100 million ($125 million) investment to establish nine new artificial intelligence (AI) research hubs and enhance regulator training in technology. Approximately £90 million will fund hubs focusing on AI applications in healthcare, chemistry, and mathematics, including collaboration with the US on responsible AI. Another £10 million will support regulators in addressing AI risks across sectors like telecoms, healthcare, finance, and education.
