Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, tweeted today: ‘Eric Hofer confirms that the ability to manage and contain crises does not lie in controlling them after they have occurred, but rather in the ability to create and anticipate the future, in order to avoid many challenges that may confront us if we are ready to look ahead…”

He added, quoting Hofer, ‘The only way to predict the future is to have the power to create it.’
