Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib received a phone call from Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie. Jolie informed Bou Habib of the goals of her expected visit next week to Lebanon, as Minister Bou Habib will be unable to meet her in Beirut, due to his participation in the ministerial preparatory meeting for the Arab Summit in Bahrain. The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the south, and ways to reduce escalation, and restore stability. Bou Habib thanked his Canadian counterpart for the Canadian aid provided to Lebanon, hoping for continued and increased Canadian support in development fields. Source: National News Agency - Lebanon
