Palestine confirms 182 new coronavirus cases, two deaths

Palestine today confirmed 182 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.

She announced that 182 Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus and two others died of it in the occupied territories.

Among the new 182 cases, 75 cases were recorded in the West Bank and 107 others in the besieged Gaza Strip.

She identified the death cases as from the Gaza Strip.

She added that 51 Covid-19 patients recovered; 41 recovery cases in the West Bank and 10 others in the Gaza Strip.

She pointed that 13 Covid-19 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units and 22 others are currently receiving treatment at hospitals and Covid-19 dispensaries, including two who are intubated.

She said that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.3 percent and the active cases account for 0.6 percent. The death toll stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

Regarding the Covid-19 vaccination rollout, al-Kaileh said that 613,756 people have received their first jab of the vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, including 425,014 people who received the second dose of the vaccine.

Palestine reports 160 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths

Palestine today confirmed 160 new COVID-19 cases, 38 recoveries and two deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.

She announced that 160 people tested positive for the highly contagious virus in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, while two others died from coronavirus complications in Gaza. No deaths were reported in the West Bank.

Among the new 160 cases, 83 cases were recorded in the West Bank and 77 others in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Al-Kaileh pointed that 22 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, of whom 12 are in intensive care, including two on ventilators.

She said that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.4 percent, while active cases account for 0.5 percent. The death toll stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

Regarding the Covid-19 vaccination rollout, al-Kaileh said that 608,800 people have received their first jab of the vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, of whom 423,500 people received the second dose of the vaccine.

Palestine today confirmed 169 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.

 

She announced that 169 Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus and two others died of it in the occupied territories.

 

Among the new 169 cases, 54 cases were recorded in the West Bank and 115 others in the besieged Gaza Strip.

 

She identified the death cases as from the Gaza Strip.

 

She added that 53 Covid-19 patients recovered; 38 recovery cases in the West Bank and 15 others in the Gaza Strip.

 

She pointed that 11 Covid-19 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units and 18 others are currently receiving treatment at hospitals and Covid-19 dispensaries, including two who are intubated.

 

She said that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.4 percent and the active cases account for 0.5 percent. The death toll stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

 

Regarding the Covid-19 vaccination rollout, al-Kaileh said that 607,942 people have received their first jab of the vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, including 423,327 people who received the second dose of the vaccine.

A slight rise in COVID-19 new cases in Palestine with total reaching 162 in last 24 hours

A slight rise was recorded today in the number of COVID-19 cases in Palestine, with the total reaching 162 in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health.

 

The West Bank recorded 32 corona cases and 32 recoveries, while the Gaza Strip had 98 cases and 10 recoveries. East Jerusalem recorded 32 new cases. No deaths were recorded anywhere.

 

According to the ministry, 23 COVID-19 cases are in hospital and 12 are in intensive care, while two patients are on ventilators.

 

In addition, 495,101 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in the West Bank and 109,359 in the Gaza Strip.

Palestine records 140 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

Palestine recorded 140 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 27 patients recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

 

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that 52 new cases and 15 recoveries were recorded in the West Bank, and 88 new cases and 12 recoveries were reported in the Gaza Strip. No deaths were reported.

 

Alkaila said 21 corona patients are getting treatment in hospitals, and 13 are in intensive care, while two patients are on respirators.

 

The recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.5 percent, while active cases reached 0.4% percent. The death toll stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

 

She said 601,453 people were vaccinated in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip so far, including 420,641 people who received the second dose of the vaccine.

Palestine recorded 181 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 140 patients recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that 30 new cases and 20 recoveries were recorded in the West Bank, and 151 new cases and 120 recoveries were reported in the Gaza Strip. No deaths were reported.

Alkaila said 22 corona patients are getting treatment in hospitals, and 13 are in intensive care, while two patients are on respirators.

She said 491,394 people have been vaccinated against corona in the West Bank and 107,976 in the Gaza Strip.

Two die of coronavirus in the Gaza Strip as Palestine records 111 new cases in 24 hours

Two people have died of coronavirus in the Gaza Strip where 72 new cases were recorded in addition to 39 new cases in the West Bank in the last 24 hours, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

 

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that 22 patients have recovered in the West Bank and 98 in the Gaza Strip.

 

A total of 20 people are getting treatment in hospitals after contracting the corona disease and 13 are in intensive care, while two are on ventilators.

 

Alkaila said 488,529 people have been vaccinated in the West Bank and 107,092 in the Gaza Strip, while of the total in both parts of the country 418,013 people have received two jabs of the vaccine.

 

Recovery rate of the total who contracted the disease since the start of the pandemic in Palestine in March of last year has reached 98.5 percent, while 0.4 percent are still active and 1.1% have died.

Palestine records 111 cases of COVID-19, three deaths

Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said today that 111 new cases of COVID-19, three deaths and 111 recoveries were registered in Palestine during the past 24 hours.

 

In her daily report on the coronavirus pandemic, Alkaila said three deaths from COVID-19 were reported in the Gaza Strip, while no deaths were reported in the West Bank.

 

A total of 3,171 COVID-19 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours. In the Gaza Strip, 71 coronavirus tests came out positive, while the West Bank had only 40 new cases.

 

No update was available regarding the situation in occupied Jerusalem.

 

The health minister said nine patients of COVID-19 are under intensive care, but none of them is intubated. In addition, 14 patients are hospitalized for coronavirus.

 

Alkaila pointed out that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.5 percent, while active cases declined to 0.4 percent.

 

Deaths stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

 

Concerning rollout of vaccines, the health minister said over 591,600 people have received their first jab of the vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, of whom 416,000 were fully vaccinated.
