Muscat: Maj. Gen Hamed Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies, welcomed a delegation from the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College, led by Brigadier Nael Mohammed Al Shqeirat, to his office today. The meeting, attended by Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Mashaykhi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College, focused on discussions of mutual interest, particularly in academic arenas.

According to Oman News Agency, the Jordanian delegation was given a guided tour of the Joint Command and Staff College at the Academy. Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Mashaykhi hosted the delegation, who viewed a visual presentation about the college's extensive training and educational programs. The tour included an inspection of the college's facilities, encompassing its departments, systems, and equipment.

Additionally, the delegation visited the National Defense College at Bait Al Falaj Camp, where Air Commodore Yasser Ali Al Rahbi, Assistant Commandant of the National Defense College, greeted them. The delegation received a briefing on the college's strategic curriculum, designed to prepare national cadres for strategic decision-making at multiple levels, and toured its various departments and facilities.

The visit also included a stop at the Center for Strategic and Defense Studies within the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies in Bait Al Falaj Camp. The Acting Head of the Center received the delegation, who were briefed on the center's roles and tasks, as well as its key activities and specialized events.
