Muscat: Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), welcomed Lt. Gen Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Saudi Royal Naval Forces, and his accompanying delegation at Bait Al Falaj Garrison today. The visit marks a significant engagement between the two military institutions, focusing on strengthening ties and collaboration. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting centered around discussions on topics of mutual interest, particularly in the academic realm. This engagement highlights the ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two entities, emphasizing the importance of academic collaboration in strategic and defence studies. The meeting was also attended by Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al Qatabi, Head of the Centre for Strategic and Defence Studies, Commodore Khalid Amer Al Salti, Director of Studies and Academic Affairs, along with several ASDS senior officers. Additionally, the Military Attaché at the S audi embassy in Muscat was present, underscoring the importance of the diplomatic and military relationship between the two nations.
