The settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today in the occupied city of Jerusalem (Al-Quds), under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, and performed Talmudic prayers. Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted eyewitnesses as saying that colonists entered the mosque through the Mughrabi Gate while Israeli police turned the Old City into a military zone. Hundreds of officers were stationed near Al-Aqsa Mosque, imposing strict measures and restricting worshipers' access. The courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque were subjected last Tuesday to raids by two ministers in the Israeli occupation government, members of the Knesset, and hundreds of settlers, which was met with Arab, Islamic, and international condemnations.
