RAMALLAH, Covid-19 claimed the life of 19 people in Palestine in the last 24 hours while 2042 people were confirmed infected with coronavirus, today said the Ministry of Health.

It said 11 people have died in the West Bank, six in the Gaza Strip, and two in occupied East Jerusalem.

At the same time, 403 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the West Bank and 578 have recovered, 789 tested positive in the Gaza Strip and 2000 have recovered, and 850 tested positive in East Jerusalem and 1250 recovered.

The Ministry said 227 coronavirus patients are still in hospitals, 100 are in intensive care, and 37 are attached to ventilators.
