Death Toll from Starvation in Gaza Increases to 251, Including 108 Children

Gaza: Medical sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) on Saturday that the death toll from the starvation policy pursued by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip has risen to 251, including 108 children. The sources explained that Gaza hospitals recorded the deaths of 11 people, including a child, due to malnutrition in the past 24 hours.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, preventing the entry of any humanitarian aid. This has plunged the Strip into a state of famine, despite the backlog of aid trucks at its borders. Only limited quantities are allowed in, failing to meet the minimum needs of the Palestinian population.

The United Nations World Food Programme recently warned that a third of Gaza's population, out of approximately 2.4 million Palestinians, has not eaten for several days.
