Earthquakes of magnitudes 3.2, 1.8 felt near Nablus

An earthquake of magnitude 3.2, followed by another of magnitude 1.8, occurred this early morning and were felt in in the eastern outskirts of Nablus, north of the West Bank, according to the Earth Sciences and Seismic Engineering Center at An-Najah National University.

It said the two minor earthquakes struck at a depth of 1 and 2 km underground respectively, adding that the latitude and longitude of the first one were found to be 32.13 degrees and 35.33 degrees. The latitude and longitude of the second earthquake were found to be 32.11 degrees and 35.33 degrees.
