Manama, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, chaired a meeting to initiate the new academic year. The meeting highlighted the ministry's preparations, ensuring that all necessary services for students are in place to guarantee a smooth and efficient start to the school year. Dr. Juma announced that, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy and the Civil Service Bureau, the Ministry of Education has taken the necessary steps to approve the promotion of over 5,000 employees in the educational and supporting sectors, effective from September. The responsible department will begin processing these promotions gradually, with the aim of completing the disbursement by the end of December this year. The minister commended the dedication of the educational staff, recognising their key role in last year's success and their ongoing efforts for the upcoming academic year. He praised their commitment to upholding the ministry's strategies and standards. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubara k extended appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support to the educational sector and its staff.
