Manama, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, affirmed that the decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, granting a pardon to 457 inmates, in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty's Accession, reflects the enduring values of tolerance embraced by His Majesty's leadership. He said that this gesture demonstrates His Majesty's commitment to enhancing human rights, fostering social unity, and upholding mutual respect within society. The minister also commended the government's efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting rehabilitation programmes that align with His Majesty's vision for the Kingdom's development process.
