Muscat: The Governorate of A'Dhahirah today saw the opening of a fine arts exhibition, titled 'Pastel Gallery 2', that showcased the works of teachers from the governorate.
According to Oman News Agency, the 7-day exhibition, held at Bait Al Marah Fort, features 58 works ranging from pastel art to decoupage. It showcases educational talents and embodies the aesthetic values linked to the Omani environment.
Majid Salim Al Ghafri, Supervisor General of the exhibition, said that the works on display express in depth Omani people's attachment to their heritage and natural entourage.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Busaidi, Wali of Yanqul.
