Fatah official wounded after being run over by Israeli settler near Qalqilia

QALQILIA, Bayan Tabib, a member of the Revolutionary Council of Fatah Movement, sustained an injury today after he was run over by a car-driving Israeli settler near the village of Izbat at-Tabib in the occupied West Bank province of Hebron, according to local sources.

Witnesses told WAFA that Tabib was taking part in a nonviolent anti-occupation activity when an Israeli settler drove his vehicle in his direction and hit him, casing him minor injuries.

The settler reportedly fled the scene immediately after the suspected attack.

Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
