Fatah spokesman: Israel should stop using allegations of anti-Semitism against criticism of its apartheid regime

Fatah spokesman and member of its Revolutionary Council Osama al-Qawasmi said that Israel should stop using the allegation of anti-Judaism and anti-Semitism against the world criticism of the apartheid regime it imposes on the Palestinian people and its colonial occupation.

He said in a statement that the majority of Jews in the US and other countries criticize and condemn the Israeli occupation and its apartheid regime. “Are those Jews also against Judaism and Semitism?” he questioned.

He stressed that Israel, backed by its Zionist movement, aims at deepening and legalizing the occupation under a cloak of religion and anti-Semitism, which he stressed no longer deceives the people around the world.

He said that the mass pro-Palestine marches witnessed around the world, and the solidarity with Palestinians and condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on social media platforms, especially by people in the US, is strong evidence that people around the world reject invoking anti-Semitism against the world condemnation of the Israeli occupation and its aggression against the Palestinian people.
