RAMALLAH, Fifteen people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours as 2501 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily report on the effect of the pandemic in Palestine.
The West Bank recorded eight deaths and 811 new cases, while 1134 patients have recovered, while the Gaza Strip had seven deaths and 1690 new cases while 1657 patients have recovered.
A total of 193 people are in hospitals getting treatment after contracting coronavirus, and 79 are in intensive care while 14 are on ventilators.
Alkaila said 1,271,801 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Palestine, and 538,410 people got the second dose.
