JERUSALEM, Saturday, The Mufti of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein announced that Sunday is the last day of the holy fast month of Ramadan in Palestine, which means that Monday is the first day of the three-day Eid al-Fitr holiday.
President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated the Palestinian people and Arab and Islamic worlds on the occasion of the Eid, wishing “to our people to revisit this occasion while their wishes for freedom, independence and the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital have come true.”
