Five New Flyovers to be Built Along Sohar-Al Buraimi Highway


Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology began the construction of five new overpasses along the Sohar-Al Buraimi highway. The project costs more than RO 6 million. The project, which has so far progressed by 8 percent, forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and improve the road network in the Sultanate of Oman.



According to Oman News Agency, the project has been awarded to Rimal Global Technical Services. It is scheduled to be completed within 18 months, approximately by the end of 2026, according to the approved timeline.
