Five Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire at Gaza border

GAZA, At least five Palestinians were injured with gunfire today and many others sustained suffocation from teargas, as Israeli occupation forces attacked hundreds of protesters demonstrating at the east border of Gaza in protest of the Israeli blockade.

Soldiers stationed along the borderline opened gunfire at the protesters, injuring five of them, including one seriously. The wounded were rushed to Shifa medical center in Gaza for treatment.

Palestinians in Gaza have been demonstrating near the border for two weeks to raise their voice against the 14-year Israeli blockade of the coastal enclave.
