Four Agreements Worth RO 4m Signed to Implement Service, Development Projects in Al Dhahira

Najeeb Ali Al Rawas, Governor of Al Dhahirah, today signed four agreements to the tune of more than RO 4 million to implement service and development projects in the governorate.

The projects form part of Al Dhahirah Governorate’s projects plan for 2023 and 2024.

The first agreement, signed with Daleel Petroleum Company, provides for funding projects in the governorate as part of the company’s social contribution programme. The agreement deals with the construction of a walkway in Al Nahda area in the Wilayat of Ibri. The company’s contribution covers up to 60% of the cost of the project.

The second agreement provides for the construction of another walkway in the Hamra Al Duroo. The 1,300 metres-long walkway will be constructed with contribution from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

The third agreement deals with the establishment of a Motorsports Circuit in the Wilayat of Ibri.

The fourth agreement relates to the execution of a cooperation programme in conjunction with Innovation Oasis Company. It provides for the establishment of an electronic platform that enables community members to register ideas, initiatives and innovations so that these outputs could be evaluated and analyzed prior to converting them into investment opportunities.
