Four Palestinians shot by Israeli gunfire near Ramallah

Four Palestinians were Thursday injured after they were shot by Israeli gunfire during the confrontations that erupted at the northern entrance of al-Bireh city, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry said that one was shot in the chest and that his condition was reported to be serious, while the three others were shot in several parts of their bodies.

It added that all the casualties were taken to the Ramallah Medical Complex.

Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in protest of Israel’s aggressive assault on Jenin city and camp, which killed nine Palestinians and injured dozens.

Students from Berzeit University went on a march towards the Israeli military checkpoint of Beit Eil, where confrontations broke out, during which the Israeli soldiers fired sound and tear gas bombs.
