Gaza farmers come under heavy Israeli army gunfire, forced to leave their lands

Gaza farmers working in their lands in the central and southern Gaza Strip today came under heavy Israeli army gunfire forcing them to cut their work short and leave their lands, reported WAFA correspondent.

He said Israeli soldiers stationed at the fence along the Gaza borders opened machine gunfire at farmers in the town of al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, and at farmers east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, forcing them to leave the area. No one was hurt in either location.

Israeli soldiers regularly open fire at farmers working in their lands near the border fence and force them to leave the area.
