Geneva, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, participated in the 77th World Health Assembly, held under the title 'Health for All, All for Health'. During her speech on behalf of member states of the Middle East, the minister affirmed the region's commitment to developing the health sector. She highlighted the Kingdom's health initiatives that were adopted by Arab countries, which were announced during the 33rd Arab Summit held in Bahrain, under the presidency of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister emphasised the initiatives' goals in promoting peace and stability in the region, and the ongoing commitment to regional partnership and cooperation with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Arab League, to deliver healthcare to individuals affected by conflicts, enhance the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry in Arab nations, and guarantee access to medication and treatment. She highlighted the region's continuous cooperation with various partners to ensure glo bal health coverage, in line with the sustainable development goals and the strategies and objectives set by the World Health Organisation.
