RAMALLAH, Health Minister Mai Alkaila said today that 14 people have died in Palestine in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus while 1278 new cases were confirmed.

She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that eight people died in the Gaza Strip where 1018 new cases were recorded and 1056 patients recovered, while six people have died in the West Bank where 260 new cases were confirmed and 645 patients recovered.

She said 189 people are getting treatment for the corona disease in hospitals and 71 are in intensive care while 16 patients are on ventilators.

A total of 2336 people in the West Bank have already received the third dose of the corona vaccine and none in the Gaza Strip, while 1,146,311 people in both the Gaza Strip and West Bank have received the second dose.
