Manama, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, visited Youth City 2030, where she was briefed by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, on the city's various sections. Youth City 2030 is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with Labour Fund (Tamkeen). The visit was part of Health and Sports Week at the Exhibition World Bahrain. The Minister of Health reviewed the objectives of Youth City 2030 and its thirteenth edition programmes, which focus on science, technology, arts, culture, leadership, entrepreneurship, media, entertainment, sports, and health. These initiatives, totalling 148 programmes and over 4,000 training opportunities, aim to enhance youth skills and capabilities. During the visit, the Minister also explored the "Mutanafas" campaign, which promotes mental health awareness, and the National Genome Station, highlighting the city's role in supporting health awareness and youth development.
