HH Sayyid Fahd Receives Heads of Delegations Participating in ICESCO Conference

HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers today received heads of delegations participating in the ICESCO Conference, which is hosted by the Sultanate of Oman. The heads of delegations expressed their sincere sentiments and best wishes of success to the leadership in Oman. They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity. HH Sayyid Fahd underscored the Sultanate of Oman's support for efforts exerted by the ICESCO in shouldering its responsibilities. He also lauded the organisation's role in developing research, educational curricula, knowledge and the utilising benefits from technological advancements. Further, the meeting also touched on the agenda of the ICESCO Conference which aim to boost cooperation among ICESCO member states. On their turn, the heads of delegations expressed their thanks to Oman for the conference's well-preparation. The meeting was attended by Dr. Madiha Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Dr. Salim Mohammed Al M alik, Director General of the ICESCO and Amna Salim Al Balushi, Oman's Permanent Representative to the UNESCO.
