His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and Bahrain Olympic Committee President today congratulated His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on Team Victorious’ success in the first day of the Royal Ascot.
The colt Bradsell had won first place at the King’s Stand Stakes of the 1000-metre race, on the Ascot Racecourse.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad said that this victory by Team Victorious which adds to Bahrain’s achievements reflects the care accorded to the Kingdom’s equestrian sports by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He attributed Team Victorious’ triumph to the support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and its many achievements, which has contributed to strengthening the Kingdom’s position in the equestrian sport and horse racing sector globally, wishing Team Victorious every success in the upcoming competitions.
