Muscat: Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, received Edwin van Huis, General Director of Naturalis Biodiversity Centre of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Marjolein van Breemen, Director of the Museum at Naturalis Biodiversity Centre, in her office today.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation in providing consultancy services and drafting a masterplan to establish an integrated national centre in Sultan Haitham City. This proposed centre aims to undertake various roles, including research and conservation of genetic resources.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Saif Abdullah Al Hadabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Research and Innovation, alongside several officials from the Ministry.
