Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (69) of 2024, restructuring the Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture, based on a proposal from the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet. Article I The Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture shall be restructured under the presidency of the Minister of Education, with the following members: 1- Undersecretary for Policies, Strategies, and Performance at the Ministry of Education 2- President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities 3- Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council 4- Head of Bahrain's Diplomatic Mission to the French Republic 5- Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre 6- Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority 7- Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) 8. Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Sustainable Dev elopment Article II Decree (44) of 2009 restructuring the Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture, is hereby repealed, along with any provision that contradicts the terms of this decree. Article III The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
