HM Receives Thanks Cable from IFSWF Participants.

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks and appreciation from the participants in the 16th Annual Meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), which was held in Muscat during 3-6 November. They expressed their utmost thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm welcome and hospitality. According to Oman News Agency, the participants in the forum, which was the largest gathering in its history since its inception in 2009, praised the efforts exerted by the Oman Investment Authority for the success of the event. They also expressed their admiration for the Authority's achievements in the field of governance, sustainability, and transparency at the highest standards in accordance with the Santiago Principles emanating from the Forum. They also valued the significant interest they observed from government institutions in ensuring the success of the meeting's activities. The participants are looking forward to the outcomes of the conference acco mpanying the meeting, which they hope will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the members.
