HM The Sultan, Algerian President Hold Official Talks

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria held an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace today. At the outset of the session, His Majesty the Sultan reiterated his welcome to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his accompanying delegation, wishing this visit a success for the welfare of the two countries and their peoples. On his turn, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and hospitalityThe session reviewed the fields of cooperation between the two countries in a manner that contributes in opening up new vistas of partnership and investment. The two leaders discussed the current situations and exchanged opinion on them with the prime aim of achieving security and peace in the region. The official session of talks was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, HH Say yid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'mani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Oufi, Head of the Private Office, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat (Head of the Mission of Honour) and Saif bin Nasser Al Bada'ei, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
