HM The Sultan and Turkish President Convene for Strategic Talks Session.

Ankara: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye held an official session of talks at the Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara, today. During the session, the two leaders discussed means of promoting the relations of historical friendship and various spheres of cooperation and investments to serve the interests of the two countries and meet their aspirations. They also exchanged views on a set of regional and international political developments. According to Oman News Agency, the session was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Sa if bin Rashid Al Jahwari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Turkiye. Meanwhile, the Turkish delegation included Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Treasury and Finance, Yasar Gler, Minister of Defence, Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Minister of Industry and Technology, Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade, Mehmet Hakimoglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Sultanate of Oman, Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications of the Presidency, and several other Turkish officials.
