Ankara: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye exchanged prestigious national orders at the Presidential Complex this evening on the occasion of His Majesty's state visit to Turkiye. According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan conferred the "Al Said Order," Oman's most lofty accolade, on President Erdogan. This gesture was in commendation of the Turkish President and as a manifestation of the deep-rooted friendship and relations binding the two countries and their peoples. Meanwhile, President Erdogan awarded His Majesty the Sultan with the 'Order of the State,' Turkiye's most magnificent decoration. This accolade was given in appreciation from the President to His Majesty and in acknowledgment of the advanced relations between the two countries.
