Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on victims of Cyclone Ditwah which hit the city of Colombo.

According to Oman News Agency, in the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sentiments to President Anura, families of the victims and the people of Sri Lanka. His Majesty also wished the injured a speedy recovery and to safeguard the country from calamities.
