Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to President Guy Parmelin of the Swiss Confederation on being elected as his country's President.

According to Oman News Agency, in the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sentiments to President Guy Parmelin in leading the people of the Swiss Confederation towards the realization of further progress and stability. His Majesty also wished the bilateral cooperation and partnership relations further growth on all spheres.
