Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. His Majesty expressed his best wishes to President Xi Jinping and the people of China, hoping for a year filled with goodness, achievements, and progress.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan also highlighted the deep-rooted relations and fruitful cooperation between Oman and China in his message.
