Manama: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met at his place of residence in Manama with Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 46th GCC Summit.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting reviewed areas of cooperation between Oman and Italy. It also explored means of boosting partnership in various spheres, in addition to exchanging views on a set of regional and international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and some officials from the Italian Government.
