Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. (100/2025) concerning the ratification of an agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Iraq. The agreement facilitates a mutual waiver of visas for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports. This agreement was initially signed in Salalah on September 3, 2025. According to Oman News Agency, Article (1) of the Royal Decree ratifies the agreement as per the version attached to the decree. Additionally, Article (2) mandates the publication of the Royal Decree in the Official Gazette, with enforcement effective from the date of issuance.
