Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended a cable of greetings to President Mahamat Idriss Deby, President of the Transitional Military Council in the Republic of Chad, in celebration of Chad's National Day.

According to Oman News Agency, the Sultan expressed his wishes for President Mahamat Idriss Deby to achieve further success in meeting the aspirations of the Chadian people for stability, progress, and prosperity.
