Injuries among Palestinian protesters by Israeli gunfire at Gaza border

Several Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire today during confrontations which broke out along the east border of the Gaza Strip in response to the daily Israeli military brutality against the Palestinian people, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said two Palestinians, including a child, were injured by Israeli gunfire during confrontations at the border east of the town of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip. The two are in a stable health condition.

At least two more Palestinians were also injured by Israeli gunfire during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces to the east of Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.

Israeli occupation soldiers also opened gunfire at Palestinian protesters to the east of Jabalia town in the north of the enclave. No injuries were reported.

The latest protests come in response to the Israeli escalation of violence against the Palestinian people, mainly the recent massacre in Nablus last Wednesday in which 11 Palestinians were killed and nearly 110 others injured in a brutal Israeli military raid on the city.
