The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon on Thursday posted the following on its X platform: "It seems more appropriate to change the name of the US Congress to the American 'Knesset'! Muting the voices of Americans in solidarity with Gaza and issuing bills to cover up their suppression... Approving multiple military and financial aid packages to Israel from the American people and taxpayers' funds... Threatening international organizations if they think about condemning Israeli officials for war crimes... and many other services provided by the US Congress "loyally" in favor of this entity."
