Muscat: President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran met at Al Bustan Hotel today with the Iranian community residing in the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting took place within the context of the Iranian President’s current official visit to Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, during the meeting, President Pezeshkian emphasized the role of the Iranian community in fostering direct people-to-people ties between Iran and Oman. He highlighted the importance of strengthening civilizational relations between the two countries.

The gathering was also attended by some businesspeople from the Iranian side, indicating a focus on expanding economic and trade relations in addition to cultural and social connections.
