Duqm: An Iraqi business delegation headed by Dr. Mohammed Al Najjar, CEO of Iraq Development Fund, today visited the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD). The delegation viewed a number of projects in the zone, aiming to explore potential investment opportunities.
According to Oman News Agency, Eng. Ahmed Ali Akaak, CEO of SEZAD, highlighted some investments within the zone, along with the incentives offered to investors. He also emphasized the available investment opportunities across various economic sectors. The CEO of SEZAD noted that the Special Economic Zone has successfully attracted investments worth more than RO 6 billion over the previous years in different economic sectors.
Dr. Mohammed Al Najjar, CEO of Iraq Development Fund, expressed the potential for cooperation between businesspeople from Oman and Iraq. He further underscored the importance of strengthening economic relations and encouraging business partnerships between the two nations.
