Israel confiscates heavy machinery owned by a Palestinian village council while opening a road

The Israeli military today seized heavy machinery owned by Aneen village council, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, while they were working on opening a road in the village, according to the head of the village council Mohammad Issa.

He told WAFA that the machinery, worth $50,.000, was opening a road to the sewage disposal station east of Aneen and imposed a fine of $5,000 on the village council claiming the machinery was working in Area C, which is under full Israeli military control, without a permit.
