Israel to seize hundreds of dunums of land northeast of Jerusalem to expand street serving settlers

JERUSALEM, The Israeli occupation authorities distributed notices for the seizure of hundreds of dunums of land in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, to expand the main street in the town for the benefit of settlers.

The street, which is supposed to serve settlers, extends from the entrance of the town of Anata and passes through the entrance of Hizma.

The municipality of Hizma warned of the intentions of the Israeli authorities to confiscate hundreds of dunums for the benefit of expanding the said street, calling on the owners of the land threatened with seizure to contact it in order to take the necessary legal measures.

It slammed this Israeli plan as part of the occupation’s schemes, which if implemented, will turn Hizma into fragmented islands.
