Israeli bulldozers raze lands near Nablus

Israeli bulldozers Tuesday demolished large areas of Palestinian-owned lands in the village of Jalud, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, in favor of expanding a nearby settlement.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, told WAFA that a number of villages near Nablus are currently undergoing wide-scale razing operation in favor of expanding eight settlements and outposts, including Shvut Rachel, within a framework of expanding their structures and building more settlement units.

He added that razing works have been underway in the aforementioned settlement on lands belonging to the village of Jalud in order to prepare the land for more settlements unis.
