JENIN, Israeli special forces today abducted a Palestinian and wounded another in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to local and security sources.

They said a sizable special Israeli forces sneaked their way into the eastern neighborhood of the city and surrounded the house of Sedqi Mar’e, demanding him to turn himself.

The man was eventually handcuffed and abducted.

More military reinforcements broke into the neighborhoods during ensuing confrontations that culminated in the injury of a young man by live bullets in the foot.

The casualty was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
